Thanks to Ian at MetalShapers I finally got the dimensions of the Door. I ended up using that bad panel, it will be a little more work fixing that bad rust, but I did not have another sheet large enough to make this panel, and do not want to use new. Here it is cut and folded to size, with a slight curve at the bottom to match the curve of the 38.
A detail of the back of the door. Does not look like much, but looks can be deceiving; that curve at the bottom of the door wanted to add a little fun twisting instead of shaping. The first post was made of tin but after that I decided to change to galvanized as I have more of that around, the duct work from when the Hotel burnt.
